Publishing the Digital Teacher web lesson as a survey

Digital Teacher survey can be deployed in either of the following two modes.

Anonymous - When published in this mode, anyone can access the survey. The survey result can be collected and anyalyzed using the Digital Teacher authoring program. However, you cannot view the result using the Digital Teacher Online Gradebook.

This mode supports Multiple Choice, True/False, Yes/No, and Correct/Incorrect question types only. Including other question types does not cause problems, but responses for those questions are not added to the Digital Teacher authoring program's Analysis window.
Guest Book - This mode requires a login procedure. The visitor must provide a unique ID and the name to access the survey. The survey result can neither be collected nor be analyzed with Digital Teacher. However, the visitors' responses can be viewed on the Online Gradebook.

This mode supports all question types.

Survey in the Guest Book mode
ID (Email):		When deployed in this mode, the Digital Teacher lesson database on the server must retrieve data from the three fields - ID, First Name, and Last Name. Since each visitor's ID must be unique, the best candidate for this field is the visitor's email address. A sample login file, `dtLoginSurvey.htm`, is included in the Digital Teacher Web Application.
